Everywhere along the side of the road ,there are stille white flowers, called yarrow. Yarrow is well known for its medicinal properties. Yarrow is astringent, blood purifying, anti-inflammatory, diaphoretic, antispasmodic and works strengthening the blood vessels. It would also be beneficial in rheumatic diseases. In short, this plant has both positive medical qualities, both in internal use and external use.

Indians would have expelled evil spirits with the smoke of yarrow.
Yarrow also has a positive effect on other plants. Useful insects, such as ladybugs, predatory mites and parasitic wasps, are attracted by them.
